Hi, my name is India Goodman. I am a junior pursing a degree in Communication at the University of Maryland, College Park. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania — that’s right, out-of-state. Big transitions have always been apart of my life, including a move from a public to private school in high school. While attending a private all-girls school, I was introduced to new and effective teaching practices, such as round table discussions and no online platform to view grades. This school’s approach to higher education changed the way I approached learning. I am curious to see what other practices are used and where my opinions will stand.
